United Methodist Women

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  The primary mission focus is helping women and children all over the world. The money that the UMW raises goes toward missions.

You do not have to be a member of the United Methodist Church to be a member of UMW. There is no age requirement and youth are encouraged to join. UMW meetings are the first Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m., however, UMW does not meet in July and August.

Our group is in the Clearfield Cluster in the Altoona District, which is part of the Susquehanna Conference in the Northeastern Jurisdiction.
